The original idea of the Enviro-Cistern came from living on a farm that had a poor water source.

I grew up on a farm with a slow producing water well. This meant that I was able to have a bath only every Thursday and my Sisters each had another night of the week each to have theirs. If I fell in the mud on Tuesday, I had to walk around dirty until Thursday came around. Actually, it wasn't quite that bad but we did always have restricted baths and toilet flushes because of the low water supply. Coupled with a low water supply came poor water quality as well.

Because of the poor quality we had to have an Iron Filter, Water Softener, Chlorinator, and Carbon Filter in order to be able to use the little water that we did have. Considering the Softener and Filters each had to backwash twice a week this meant about 540 gallons of water was flushed out to our Lagoon. There went our bath water.

It's now 35 years later and I live in the City where water is always taken for granted. One night, while sitting downstairs watching TV, something clicked. My wife just let out her bath water while my oldest daughter was washing here hair and my youngest daughter started washing clothes. Just about that time the Water Softener started to regenerate because the timer was set wrong.

I don't know if it was the tremendous amount of water going down the drain but I had a flashback of my youth, and not having any water to spare. We probably went through as much water that night as we did in a week on the Farm. That's when it came to me that we didn't have to go without water on the farm if we would have used it a second time before we sent it to the lagoon.

We haven't sold anything into the US yet although we have had some inquiries from Texas, Arizona, and California. These are Commercial inquiries regarding buying my idea for all of the US.

haven't made any firm decisions yet as we will not be deciding entirely on a "first come, first served" basis. We are looking for the right Organization or Firms to do a justice to this System. We are also considering requests from Taiwan, Australia, India, Portugal, Mexico, Jordan, and Sweden.
